What we get up to
- Eid and Ramadan celebrations, iftar dinners and multi-cultural festivals
- Coffee mornings, cooking sessions, art and calligraphy, and gardening
- Community clean-ups and our bench in Cambusnethan Cemetery
- Heritage projects, including Traces of Empire with WSREC and Historic Environment Scotland
- Trips and outings — the Antonine Wall, Callendar House and boating on the loch
- Interfaith dialogue with Interfaith Scotland and the Abrahamic Roots Group
- Cultural open days that welcome the wider community in
A place to belong
NLMWA started as a handful of mothers who wanted somewhere safe to meet. Thirty years on, those gatherings are still the heart of the organisation — and new faces are always welcome.
