Community reflection · 13 September 2026
One person takes the first step; a community follows
Our Sunday wellbeing walk at Blairhill Park brought friendship, confidence, exercise and a chance to discover a beautiful local place together.
Reflecting on the swans and their young beside the lake, founder and Chair Bushra Iqbal MBE wrote that leadership does not always mean doing something big. Sometimes it means opening the door so others feel safe and confident to follow.
“Our Sunday walk is not only exercise. It is friendship, confidence, wellbeing, discovering our local community — and learning that when we move forward together, a whole new world can open.”
