North Lanarkshire Muslim Women & Family Alliance

Empowering women. Strengthening families. Uniting communities.

For over thirty years NLMWA has stood with Muslim and ethnic minority women and their families across North Lanarkshire — with support, learning, wellbeing and a place to belong.

Who we are

A community-led charity, run by the women it serves

NLMWA is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation based in Airdrie. We advance education, improve health and wellbeing, relieve isolation and build community cohesion — in a way that is culturally sensitive, welcoming and led by our own members.
