Support
What we can help with
We work with women and families across North Lanarkshire, whatever your background, language or faith. You do not need a referral, and there is nothing to sign.
How we help
- A listening ear and a friendly face, in confidence, whenever you need one
- Help with benefits claims, council tax, housing and debt paperwork
- Advocacy and interpreting support when you meet agencies, schools or doctors
- Counselling, advocacy and bereavement support, by appointment
- Referrals to specialist services, including domestic abuse support
- Food parcels and practical help for families going without
Who we work with
We are one part of a wider network of services in North Lanarkshire, and we refer and are referred to by many of them:
- Police Scotland, Scottish Prison Services and Woman’s Aid
- Airdrie & Coatbridge Foodbank and the Lanarkshire Food and Health Partnership
- NHS Lanarkshire and the local community health and care partnership
- North Lanarkshire Council and Link Housing Association
