Volunteer with us
Give an hour a week or a skill you already have. Almost everything we run was started by someone who said yes to helping.
Where help is needed
- Tutoring and class support: English, Urdu, Arabic, digital skills, homework help
- Befriending visits to members, mums with new babies and older neighbours
- Food bank sorting, packing and delivery
- Running sessions: fitness, coffee mornings, arts and crafts, gardening
- Catering and events: iftar, Eid celebrations, open days and fundraisers
- Office and admin: fundraising applications, data, translation and interpreting
- Marketing, photography, social media and web work
- Governance: joining a sub-committee, or standing as a trustee

- We meet, have a cup of tea, and find a role that suits you
- You try it once, with someone beside you, and decide from there
- We cover training and expenses where they are needed
Roles that involve working closely with children or adults at risk need a disclosure check; we will help you arrange one. Nothing you tell us is shared without your permission.
