Open days and celebrations welcoming the wider community.

All projects

Welcoming people in

Cultural open days and mosque open days invite the wider community to take part in NLMWA’s gatherings. These events offer opportunities to meet across faiths and cultural backgrounds.

Celebration and shared history

The programme includes Black History activities, Ramadan iftars and Eid celebrations. NLMWA’s wider community calendar also includes multicultural festivals, reflecting the range of occasions through which people come together.

Delivered events within an ongoing programme

The 2026 annual report records cultural events, Black History activities and support for mosque open days, Ramadan iftars and Eid celebrations.

Those activities have been delivered, while the wider cultural programme continues. The completed status refers to past events, not to an end to community celebrations and open days.
