Empowering Elderly Women with Digital Technology
Twenty sessions helping twelve older women become confident with digital technology.
Beginning with no digital experience
Empowering Elderly Women with Digital Technology worked with older women who had never used a computer or smartphone. The project focused on helping them become comfortable and confident using digital technology.
Twenty sessions with partners
Delivered with Age Scotland and WSREC, the completed programme comprised 20 sessions for 12 women. By the end, participants were able to use computers or smartphones with confidence.
These results are recorded in the 2025 annual report for the 2024–25 reporting period.
Keeping the project’s results clear
This older-women programme is separate from the ongoing Wee Grant funded by The Robertson Trust. Both projects report supporting 12 women, but the 20-session total belongs only to Empowering Elderly Women with Digital Technology.
