Young women and public life

Elect Her was a youth event encouraging young women to see themselves in public life. It focused on the possibility of taking part, being heard and contributing to decisions.

A focus on leadership

Leadership and decision-making were central themes. The event formed part of NLMWA’s youth engagement work, alongside other opportunities for young people to participate and take responsibility.

A completed youth event

Elect Her has taken place. It is distinct from the planned group for girls aged 10–15, which remains in development.
