A younger girls’ group in development, focused on confidence and leadership.
Starting leadership earlier
NLMWA is developing a new youth group for girls aged 10–15. The aim is to support confidence and leadership from an earlier age.
Responding to what we learned
Our youth work found that older girls in employment or study were harder to reach. The proposed younger group responds to that experience by changing the age focus.
Still in development
This group is a future activity, not an established weekly programme. A start date and session timetable have not been announced.
It will be distinct from the children’s classes already running three days a week and from completed youth leadership events.
