NLMWA hosted NHS Health Check and Breast Cancer Awareness events, bringing health information and screening directly to women who rarely reach mainstream services.
Working with NHS Lanarkshire
The NHS Lanarkshire Health Improvement Team was the partner for these events. The work brought a health-service partnership into NLMWA’s community activities.
What has been delivered
The 2026 annual report records both NHS Health Check and Breast Cancer Awareness events as delivered. It does not provide attendance totals or clinical outcomes for them.
These completed events are separate from the Corra Foundation Boost Fund programme, whose wellbeing-focused delivery is ongoing.
