Exploring Scotland’s heritage

NLMWA’s heritage and history projects have connected members with Scotland’s past through sessions and visits. Historic Environment Scotland has been a partner in this work.

Visiting the Antonine Wall

The Antonine Wall is among the places members have visited. These outings brought heritage learning beyond indoor sessions and into the historic places being explored.

Completed visits and continuing interests

This project records completed heritage sessions and visits. Traces of Empire, the exhibition at Summerlee Museum, has its own project page, opening dates and community storytelling focus; it is not the same activity as these earlier visits.
