Recipe book and short story collection

Members used their digital learning to publish recipes and short stories.

Putting digital skills to use

Members turned their new digital skills into two completed publications: a community recipe book and a collection of short stories. The work took learning beyond practice exercises and into pieces they could share.

Written and produced by members

The words belonged to the members themselves. They typed, edited and published the work, using their developing digital abilities throughout the process.

Food, stories and shared knowledge

The two formats gave members different ways to contribute: through recipes and through storytelling. These publications are recorded as member-led digital inclusion outcomes, rather than as a separate grant-funded training programme.
