North Lanarkshire Muslim Women & Family Alliance

The Wee Grant

Weekly support for women’s language confidence, digital skills and participation.

Building confidence in two connected areas

The Wee Grant supports women with English language confidence and digital literacy. For women facing both language and technology barriers, these weekly sessions bring the two areas of learning together.

Skills for community life

Funded by The Robertson Trust, the project focuses on capacity building and empowerment. Alongside language and digital learning, it supports the skills women need to take part in community life.

Ongoing weekly support

The 2026 annual report records 12 women supported through the Wee Grant. Weekly sessions remain ongoing.

This is a separate project from Empowering Elderly Women with Digital Technology, which delivered 20 sessions with Age Scotland and WSREC. The older-women project’s session total does not describe Wee Grant delivery.
